All RadiiTrim System wall angles can be used for OUTSIDE
radius treatments, such as column rings, WITHOUT special
tools.
ONLY INSIDE RADIUS TREATMENTS REQUIRE A HEAT GUN.
Also available by special order, pre-formed column ring
assemblies from 6"-11" diameter. Consult factory
for specific information.
ALL RADiiTrim wall angles are so versatile that they
can be used for both inside and outside radius applications,
including compound (S-shaped) radius applications.
MOST
APPLICATIONS ARE OUTSIDE RADIUS TREATMENTS
SUCH AS COLUMN RINGS AND DO NOT REQUIRE THE USE OF
A HEAT GUN.
On inside radius treatments the
horizontal leg (i.e., the one showing after installation)
will ripple and become uneven when installed. THIS IS
NORMAL.
These ripples can be removed by using any standard
heat gun. Start at ONE END of the installed wall angle,
and direct the hot air on the rippled leg. Use a smooth
stroking motion when applying the heat. The ripples will
shrink and disappear to form a perfect inside radius.
